Within the scope of providing healthcare services in a more efficient and traceable manner, digitalization of processes in the field of hospitality services in our Hospital has now become a necessity. Accordingly, accreditation processes in the health sector must be included in these sustainable and simplified digital transformation projects. 

As a result of our research and evaluations to make our hospitality services more efficient and traceable, we started using "Girin", a new generation facility management application that can be used as a cloud-based, location verification and QR code mobile and web application. 

Since the Girin application is cloud-based, all needs such as software updates, server and data security, technical support and maintenance are provided by Girin.

As Koru Hospital, we adopt a more sustainable, traceable and effective operation by moving traditional paper-based processes to electronic platforms and integrating digital tools as part of the digitalization process.  

The Girin application also fulfills accreditation requirements with accessibility, security, sustainability and traceability opportunities and contributes to increasing quality standards.

With Gir-in Task Management module, the following processes are managed end-to-end via mobile and web application with QR code and location verification.

  • Timed / Periodic Tasks 
  • Instant Mission Requests
  • Documents (MSDS, what to do in case of emergency, etc.)
  • Feedbacks 
  • Surveys

With the Girin task module, the cleaning services carried out in our hospital, such as daily, weekly, monthly, periodic or as needed, have become end-to-end manageable and traceable. In this way, processes such as document filling, wet signature, physical archiving and manual reporting have been eliminated. Since the data of the operations performed are stored in the cloud, they can be accessed at any time from any device connected to the internet. The Girin application is very easy and practical for users. The suitability of the patient room, outpatient clinic and all other areas in terms of cleanliness and hygiene can be monitored instantly. 

With the Girin instant task request module, requests for patient, sample, material and equipment transfer services from our health units are managed. 

With Girin document management, all kinds of documents and contents such as cleaning, security, quality management, customer satisfaction, control forms can be accessed quickly and easily. 

With Girin feedback management, feedback can be received from our patients, relatives and other guests via QR codes for patient rooms, sinks and all other areas. The feedback received is instantly monitored by our patient rights and other relevant units and necessary actions can be taken immediately. 

With the Girin survey module, questionnaires are created according to the needs, and all kinds of survey applications can be carried out by sharing them with target groups with QR codes in digital environment or in printed form.

In the process of our hospital being accredited by @jointcommissioninternational (JCI), which is accepted as the gold standard in international health services, and receiving the "Gold Seal of Approval", the Girin application played an important role in meeting the accreditation requirements in the field of hospitality services. "QR Code in Hospitality Services" applications were evaluated as a model application by the JCI audit team and recommended to be included in the JCI library. With the inclusion of the Girin application in the JCI library, it will set an example for 660 international hospitals with JCI accreditation.
